ROOTLESS IN THE UNIVERSE
Sitting in the darkness of the planetarium at Griffith Observatory, I lean back in the slightly rocking seat and watch the creation of the universe as portrayed by sixteen computers projecting complex, beautiful and ever changing images on the domed ceiling above me. There was the BIG BANG and the subsequent creation of the unfathomable vastness of the universe.
I saw vivid reds, dreamy blues and startling bright whites twinkle and fade, swirl and disperse like silver glitter on the wind. I saw my galaxy, the Milkyway, hanging on at the edge of this immense twirling collection of stardust.
I felt both tiny and powerful. My brain is not capable of grasping all that is entailed in this overwhelming mass, but I knew I had an undeniable place in it all and perhaps I was even a part of, or directly descended from those responsible for this miracle.
I no longer experience the angst of youth trying to know for a certainty what “the meaning” of it all might be. I am enjoying one of the benefits of age by being content to understand that I don’t have to know everything, but that my curiosity will continue to feed me and sustain my growth in any case.
As I gaze at this wondrous universe and imagine what all might be contained herein, the idea of being a temporary traveler without a traditional American home, so to speak, seems a very small thing. Earth is my home.
The fact that fuel for my vehicle has never been more expensive doesn’t seem very important as the narrator explains the starlight we will see tonight is billions of years old as it has traveled the universe to show itself to us. It seems almost an obligation, if at all possible, to at least investigate this very small, but beautiful planet I inhabit.
There are so many things my tiny mind cannot comprehend, I only get to grab at an infinitesimal few to enjoy and understand. I have allot to do. This must be how Horton felt when he heard the Who’s.

Im sorry for the possible off-topic Folks, but could you inform me which web host you are using right now I have a problem because my current web hosting company bluehost.com is kicking me off. They say that our website is using too many server resources. But our website only gets 400 visitors per week. Anyway, what would be your recommendations? Are you happy with your web hosting company? I am checking LCN at the moment, but is it real that they can provide unlimited disk space? I have contacted them and they say something like 2000gb disk drive costs only $40 per month, so if some day we will start running out of disk space we will simply add a new 2000gb drive so can continue updating.. What do you think about it? Any ideas and web host name suggestions are much appreciated.
